Promoting the investment climate of Ibaraki in “Invest Japan Seminar Open Innovation and University Collaboration between Japan and Germany”.

The world’s most prominent medical equipment exhibition “MEDICA” was held in Dusseldorf of Germany on 2019 Nov.18th(Mon.)to Nov.21st(Thurs.), featuring companies from all over the world that are contributing in the development of cutting-edge technologies in the field of surgical and clinical treatment, as well as areas related to rehabilitation.

During the same time, JETRO hosted “Invest Japan Seminar Open Innovation and University Collaboration between Japan and Germany,” together with the University of Tsukuba, we participated in the event and promoted the investment climate of Ibaraki.

Representing the University of Tsukuba, Associate Professor Hiroaki Kumada from the Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences, Division of Biomedical Science(Proton Medical Research Centre)promoted the school and the research he is conducting on the development and implementation of Boron Neutron Capture Therapy known as “BNCT”(one of the projects of the Tsukuba International Strategic Zone).

With cooperation from JETRO, we are providing services for attracting foreign-founded companies to Ibaraki.
